HONDURAS 2008 Hello Everyone, As you may know I went on a Mission/Community Service trip with a group from Trinity Chruch in Boston to Honduras this summer. It was am amazing expierence and I hope you get a sense of that from my journal entries and phots posted here. It ws a week long (9/2 - 9/9) and we flew to Teguicigalpa, the capital of Honduras. We stayed for 6 nights at Camp San Matais in the mountainous region around the capital. Most of our time was spent at the worksite in a town called El Pedregal, where we worked to build a sacristy/extra room for the church there. A medical team of 5 doctors also accompanied us on the trip, and they went from town to town each day giving out medicines, as well as toothbrushes and toothpaste. There were 13 kids and 5 mentors, plus the 5 doctors on the medical team. As I mentioned, I kept a journal while I was there, including illustrations, which you can see by clicking below.
